That's a very broad question. 😂 What child? Your child? Your student? How old is he/she? In general, you need to pick the right books. Something that matches your child's interest. Comics, graphic novels, interactive books (pop-up books or lift-the-flap books) can be more engaging for young children. Sometimes, listening to a story can be a good alternative to reading, so try audiobooks or ebooks. Invent a reward system to celebrate reading milestones. Stickers, extra playtime, or a special treat can be motivating.
